Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation is seeking a Project Engineering Manager for Water/Wastewater in Florida. The role involves leading technical execution, mentoring staff, and ensuring quality across projects with budgets and schedules managed to BV standards.

The position supports hybrid or flexible work arrangements after onboarding and requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering with a professional engineering registration/licensure. Minimum five years of related experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years related work experience.
• Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (criminal/civil background checks, drug screen, MVR search).
• Active engineering registration or licensure to support engineer of record (EOR) requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and project execution with minimal supervision.
• Provide guidance on design guides, standards, codes, BV policies.
• Develop complex engineering deliverables for larger projects.
• Prepare complex engineering calculations and analyses following standard methods.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and quality requirements for assigned projects.
• Mentor lower level staff and coordinate multi-discipline activities.
