Job summary

Baker Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to support planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale treatment and industrial projects. You will collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and field teams to ensure work is safely completed on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in construction-related field.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills required.
• Experience in water/wastewater or heavy civil work is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and distribute contract documents, addenda, field orders, RFIs, and RFPs.
• Review and track shop drawings and submittals for specification compliance.
• Support project quality control efforts, including deviation reports and testing requirements.
• Coordinate RFIs among owners, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Assist in preparing proposals and owner change order requests, including pricing of self-perform work.
• Maintain 'As-Built' drawings and prepare project close-out documentation.
• Collect and organize O&M manuals, guarantees, and warranties.
• Help maximize efficiency and quality through effective use of self-perform work.
