Job summary

Baker Construction, a leading specialty contractor, is expanding and seeking a seasoned Project Manager to join our Treatment team. You will lead the construction and commissioning of WWTPs, water reclamation facilities, and treatment systems, driving risk, schedule, and cost control while leveraging self-perform capabilities.

You will build and implement documentation, ensure quality, report progress, and maintain owner satisfaction through all phases from initiation to close-out.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of relevant experience in water/wastewater treatment plant construction.
• Knowledge of construction, design, finance, and management with industry practices.
• BS degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage construction teams to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
• Oversee all financial aspects of the project, including budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
• Develop and implement project documentation, cost control, reporting, change management, quality assurance, procurement, communication systems, and safety procedures.
• Ensure the predictability and quality of projects, focusing on owner satisfaction.
• Maintain leadership continuity throughout all construction phases, from initiation to final close-out and commissioning.
• Leverage self-perform capabilities to optimize project control, quality, and efficiency.
