Job summary

Baker Water, LLC is seeking a Project Engineer in Cincinnati, OH to support planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale water and wastewater projects. You will work with project managers, superintendents, and field teams to ensure work is done safely, on schedule, and within budget.

You will contribute to self-perform construction, assist in proposals and change orders, and help maintain quality across essential wastewater treatment facilities and water systems.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of water/wastewater construction experience.
• Degree in construction management or civil engineering.
• Experience with scheduling and safety protocols.
• Proficient in Excel; Bluebeam preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and distribute contract documents, addenda, RFIs, and submittals.
• Review shop drawings and submittals for spec compliance.
• Support quality control, including deviation reports and testing.
• Coordinate RFIs among owners, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Assist in preparing proposals and owner change orders, including pricing self-perform work.
• Maintain As-Built drawings and close-out documentation.
• Collect and organize O&M manuals, guarantees, and warranties.
• Help maximize efficiency and quality through self-perform construction.
