Job summary

Kleinfelder is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to work with a multidisciplinary team on the full lifecycle of client needs, including planning, design, and construction support. The role offers a hybrid schedule with offices in Princeton/Hamilton, NJ or Exton, PA.

The ideal candidate has a strong water/wastewater background, EIT/FE, and 6–10 years of civil engineering design experience, plus proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM (Revit).

Qualifications

• B.S. in chemical, civil, environmental or mechanical engineering.
• Engineer-In-Training/FE.
• 6-10 years of civil engineering design experience focused on water/wastewater facilities.
• Experience writing basis of design reports and performing process mechanical drawings and cost estimates.

Responsibilities

• Engage with principals to deliver full lifecycle design for water/wastewater projects.
• Contribute to planning, design, construction support, and funding/permitting tasks.
• Prepare basis of design reports and process/mechanical drawings.
• Support equipment sizing, layout, and project cost estimates.
• Assist in procurement and bid phase activities.
