Job summary

RESPEC seeks a motivated and experienced Project Engineer to join our Team in San Antonio or Castroville, Texas. This mid-level role focuses on water and wastewater design, project engineering, and client relations, delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

You will lead water/wastewater infrastructure projects from concept through completion, coordinating with project teams, regulators, and stakeholders to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant water/wastewater experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, WaterCAD and GIS.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review design plans, technical reports, and specifications.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to a growing team.
• Lead and manage water/wastewater infrastructure projects from concept through completion.
• Develop project deliverables, permitting, bidding and construction administration.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies and internal teams to ensure project success.
