Job summary

Haydon, a leading construction solutions provider based in Phoenix, Arizona, seeks a Project Engineer to support water and wastewater infrastructure projects from planning through closeout. You will coordinate with project managers, superintendents, owners, and subcontractors, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget compliance.

Ideal candidates will have a relevant bachelor’s degree, 3+ years of construction experience, and strong skills in documentation, scheduling, and interfacing with field

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in water/wastewater or heavy civil construction is preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, execution, and closeout of water and wastewater projects.
• Support project managers with day-to-day operations and coordination.
• Maintain accurate project documentation (contracts, plans, RFIs, submittals).
• Prepare and manage submittals, RFIs, and changes to ensure compliance.
• Track budgets, scheduling, and cost data to aid decision-making.
• Coordinate field activities between office and site teams.
