Job summary

Commonwealth Engineers, Inc. seeks Water/Wastewater Professional Engineers with multiple levels of experience. Opportunities are available in all office locations.

The role covers all phases of municipal water and wastewater design, including feasibility studies, design reports, bid docs, and construction support. Ideal candidates will have hydraulic design experience for pump stations and distribution systems and can mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering or similar discipline; advanced degrees are a plus.
• P.E. licensure in Indiana or Kentucky or ability to reciprocity.
• Experience with treatment plant modeling software such as GPS-X and Visual Hydraulics is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Mentor to junior team members.
• Strong work ethic and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Work on all phases of municipal water/wastewater treatment process design, including conceptual/feasibility studies, design reports, contract documents, bidding support, and construction engineering support.
• Leverage hydraulic engineering experience for planning/design of pump stations, collections, and distribution systems.
• Contribute to solving complex water/wastewater engineering challenges as a multi-talented professional.
