Commonwealth Architects in Latham, NY is seeking an Engineer I focused on Water & Wastewater to design and optimize infrastructure projects. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver compliant, cost-effective water and sewer systems across municipal, industrial, and commercial clients.

The role requires a BS in civil engineering, a PE license, and at least 4 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit and water/wastewater software is essential.

Qualificações

• BS in civil engineering required.
• PE license required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit or similar tools.
• Proficiency in Hydro CAD, Sewer GEMS and Water GEMS.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsabilidades

• Develop designs for water and wastewater projects such as pump stations, lines, sewers and treatment facilities.
• Collaborate with environmental scientists, surveyors and engineers for municipal, industrial and commercial projects.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal environmental regulations and permits.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, schedules and feasibility studies.
• Provide on-site technical support during construction and mentor junior staff.
• Develop and review drawings and specifications to meet client needs.
• Maintain client relationships and deliver cost‑effective solutions.
• Delegate work to Engineering Designers or interns.
