Job summary
CPH in Miami, FL is seeking a Project Engineer/Associate Project Engineer in the Civil/Municipal division. You will prepare plans, specifications, and reports for water/wastewater and stormwater projects, and perform hydraulic modeling for distribution and treatment systems.
You will interact with clients and agencies, review designs with engineers, and coordinate with drafting staff to ensure compliant deliverables.
Qualifications
- Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- FE exam eligible or scheduled.
- Detail-oriented with strong technical/organizational skills.
- Proficient with spreadsheets and standard office software.
- Works well in multidisciplinary teams and meets deadlines.
- Strong written and oral communication abilities.
- Experience with WaterCAD, ICPR or similar modeling tools.
- Valid driver’s license with clean record.
Responsibilities
- Prepare design plans, specs, and reports for water/wastewater projects.
- Perform hydraulic modeling for stormwater and water distribution.
- Coordinate with clients, agencies, and drafting personnel.
- Review designs with registered engineer and ensure compliance.
- Develop calculations, drawings, and visual aids.
- Assist with field data collection and project reporting.
- Manage time and workload to meet schedules and budgets.
- Travel limited to site investigations and transmittals.
