Job summary

CPH in Orlando, FL is seeking a Project Engineer – Water/Wastewater to lead design, development, and implementation of engineering projects. This mid-level role requires a Florida PE license and hands-on experience in water/wastewater design, with responsibilities spanning project management and client relations.

You will create drawings, review specs, ensure safety compliance, and maintain project documentation while coordinating with senior staff to manage risks and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil or Environmental) is required.
• 5–7 years of experience in a similar role.
• Florida PE license (PE) required.
• Strong knowledge of pipeline, lift station, and water/wastewater treatment design.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of engineering solutions for projects.
• Create and review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Monitor progress of projects and adjust as needed to ensure proper completion.
• Lead design and preparation of plans, specs, and calculations for pipeline, lift station, and water/wastewater treatment components.
• Collaborate with senior staff to identify risks and develop modification strategies.
• Ensure all aspects of safety comply with regulations and quality standards.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, schedules, and status updates.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to upper management and clients.
