Job summary

Kokosing, a leading general contractor in Maryland, seeks a civil construction project manager to plan, direct, and coordinate complex projects such as wastewater facilities and large-scale utilities. The role focuses on meeting schedule, budget, and safety goals while leading a project team.

You will analyze plans, supervise submittals, monitor costs, prepare reports, and collaborate with owners and subcontractors to resolve issues quickly.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• 3–5 years of related field experience.
• Proficient with CPM scheduling (Primavera or similar).
• Strong cost control, reporting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and understand plans and specifications.
• Develop and maintain project schedules; update monthly and look-ahead plans.
• Monitor costs, prepare and submit progress reports and cash flow projections.
• Coordinate submittals, drawings, and change orders with subs and owners.
• Provide contract interpretation and clarify requirements; ensure safety and compliance.
