Job summary

Wilson Engineers, an Arizona-based firm, is hiring for an in-office role in Tempe. The position requires 40 hours per week at our Tempe office and is not remote.

The candidate will contribute to project reviews, design work using engineering software such as AutoCAD, and preparation of contract documents. Strong communication, organization, and familiarity with MicroStation/AutoCAD are valued.

Qualifications

• Career in Water and Wastewater field is desired.
• MS Word, Excel, and Outlook proficiency required.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication needed.
• Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented team player with positive work attitude.
• Familiarity with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review schedules and budgets relative to project progress and completion.
• Conduct project status reviews and monitor timeliness of completion.
• Attend project management meetings.
• Assist Project Managers with administrative duties and project documentation.
• Maintain project files and prepare engineering studies and reports.
• Provide technical guidance to team members and assist in project drawing preparation.
• Ensure quality control procedures are followed and codes adhered to.
