Job summary

HR Green, Inc. in Austin invites an EIT or PE to join our Water-Wastewater Team on a range of utilities projects across Central Texas.

You will collaborate with engineers and professionals in an environment that promotes mentorship, career development, and client exposure while delivering planning, design, and construction services. The role emphasizes learning through project work, field visits, and coordinated deliverables.

Qualifications

• Four-year ABET-accredited B.S. degree in Civil or Mechanical engineering.
• 2+ years of progressive experience in water and wastewater infrastructure.
• Strong verbal and technical writing skills.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project.
• Familiarity with ArcGIS, AutoCAD, REVIT and Civil3D preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply engineering principles on projects as part of a team or independently.
• Assist Project Engineer and Project Manager with project tasks.
• Conduct field visits and attend client meetings as needed.
• Develop deliverables for clients and regulatory authorities.
• Coordinate with CAD designers and other engineers to ensure design integrity.
• Support multiple projects simultaneously with complex technical challenges.
• Provide technical guidance to sub-discipline staff (civil/structural/mechanical/electrical/I&C).
