Duties, Responsibilities & Other

Minimum of 5-9 years of experience in planning and designing water and wastewater facilities and infrastructure, including hydraulic and mechanical designs for pumping stations, storage facilities, and treatment plants. Knowledge of piping, valving, and pumping for water distribution and wastewater collection systems. Ability to coordinate with electrical, survey, civil, structural, architectural, and environmental disciplines. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and permitting related to water and wastewater systems. Experience in preparing contract documents, drawings, and specifications.

• Experience in water/wastewater engineering, including supervisory roles, research, or technical advisory capacities.
• EI required; PE preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience across all design phases related to water & wastewater infrastructure and involved in industry-related services.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and technical writing skills; reliable and committed to project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; graduate work preferred.
• 5-9 years of professional experience.
• Pre-employment drug screening required; background and motor vehicle checks may be necessary.

Performance Expectations

• Timely submission and approval of employee performance appraisals.
• Training backup personnel, compliance with company policies, and ensuring ISO standards.
• Managing staff routines, project budgets, and scope.
• Participation in meetings, performance tracking, and project oversight.
• Conducting site visits, data collection, design calculations, and review of technical documents.
• Completion of training programs and adherence to safety and quality standards.
