Job description

️ Solar Project Engineer

Join a pioneering team driving innovation in solar energy projects across commercial and small utility-scale installations.

Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Remote
Available Positions: 1
Start Date: As soon as possible

️ Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and engineer PV systems from concept to construction
  • Draft and review electrical single-line diagrams, layouts, wiring schedules, and system specifications
  • Manage the utility interconnection process (applications, communication, timelines)
  • Integrate monitoring platforms like AlsoEnergy, SolarEdge, and Energy Toolbase into system designs and commissioning
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes and utility regulations
  • Provide technical support during permitting, construction, commissioning, and O&M handover
  • Coordinate with EPC partners, field engineers, and project managers to ensure aligned execution
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field OR proven experience in solar PV engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with PV systems (100 kW – 2 MW) (more if applying without a Bachelor's degree)
  • Proficiency in Helioscope, PVsyst, and AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of PV monitoring and BESS integration

Preferred:

  • Experience with permitting, utilities, and AHJs
  • NABCEP certification or PE license
