Job summary

Brown and Caldwell seeks a Program Management Director to lead large, high-profile capital programs nationwide. This full-time role focuses on strategic pursuits and program delivery across major U.S. cities, overseeing complex projects with multi-billion-dollar investments and multiple project phases.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in program management for water/wastewater, with PE licensure preferred and a track record of delivering value and benefits to clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction or related field preferred.
• 15+ years of program experience in water and wastewater programs.
• Professional Engineering license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage programs with capital investments between $100M and $500M.
• Align program goals with strategic and operational objectives.
• Lead the program team and manage resources; develop strategy and roadmap.
• Mentor team members to deliver excellence, and ensure exceptional client service.
• Implement financial controls, schedule management, risk management, QA, and performance measurement.
• Change management leadership to keep programs aligned with objectives.
• Monitor program performance and identify efficiency improvements.
• Engage with client senior leaders and government stakeholders.
• Adapt and execute additional assignments as needs evolve.
