Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
• Water or wastewater construction experience required.
• Residential construction experience alone will not be considered.
• Experience with RFIs, bidding, estimating, quotes, subcontractor management, and project coordination.
• Strong understanding of construction plans, schedules, budgets, and contracts.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction/project management software.
• Ability to work independently while effectively leading and collaborating with a project team.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction activities from planning through transition to construction.
• Develop conceptual and detailed estimates, bids, quotes, schedules, and procurement strategies.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Review plans for constructability, budget, scheduling, phasing, and risks.
• Prepare and manage RFIs, bids, quotes, change orders, and project documentation.
• Solicit, evaluate, and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers.
• Assist with subcontractor buyout and procurement of equipment and long-lead materials.
• Participate in design and project meetings to ensure smooth transition to construction.
• Support project budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and planning.
