Job summary

Alberici Constructors is seeking a Preconstruction Director (Water/Wastewater) to lead preconstruction services, build client relationships, and drive winning strategies for complex projects across North America.

This senior role requires guiding staff, overseeing cost estimates, and coordinating with design teams, estimators, and subcontractors to deliver superior results on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related technical field and 10 years of related treatment plant construction experience with at least 1 year of field experience.
• Led bid efforts and estimated on water/wastewater treatment plant projects in excess of $100M.
• Prior exposure to joint venture pursuits is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage in business acquisition efforts (e.g. client presentations) and contribute to win strategies for complex projects.
• Lead and manage assigned personnel within the preconstruction team and coordinate with design/subconsultants.
• Develop cost models/estimates from conceptual through construction documents with variance reporting.
• Establish bidder outreach, evaluate subcontractor proposals, and prepare bid packages.
• Facilitate preconstruction scheduling and transition meetings to operations.
