Job summary

Prospect Construction, Inc. is seeking a Treatment Plant Superintendent in Montana with a background in structural and mechanical systems to lead the project from start to finish.

The role emphasizes schedule, quality, safety, and coordination with subcontractors, engineers, and owners to meet plans, specs, and codes. The ideal candidate brings five years of verifiable heavy civil experience, strong leadership, and proficiency with BlueBeam and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of verifiable heavy civil experience required.
• Experience managing complex self perform projects with aspects of Structural, Mechanical and Civil components.
• Proficiency in Blue Beam, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project & Outlook).
• Physically able to safely lift up to 75 lbs.
• Endurance and ability to visit entire job site, including stairs or other elevated structures.
• Strong experience in leadership, safety, negotiations, planning, and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors in critical path to ensure timely completion.
• Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed.
• Coordinate with project team on ASIs, RFIs, and Material Submittals; assist in budgeting, bidding, and subcontract awards.
• Ensure subcontractors execute and comply with contracted scope of work and safety standards.
• Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions.
• Maintain daily written log of activities on the jobsite.
• Lead weekly subcontractor meetings and pre-construction meetings with subcontractors.
• Issue notices of non-compliance to subcontractors for quality or scheduling issues.
• Read and interpret safety rules, blueprints, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Write routine reports and correspondence; speak effectively before groups.
