Job summary

Prospect Construction, Inc. is seeking a Treatment Plant Superintendent with a background in Structural and Mechanical Systems to lead a complex water/wastewater project from our Oregon office.

This full-time role focuses on coordinating field teams, maintaining schedules, and ensuring adherence to Plans, Specs, and local codes. The ideal candidate will bring at least five years of verifiable heavy civil experience, strong leadership, safety oversight, and a track record managing self-perform

Qualifications

• Five+ years of verifiable heavy civil experience.
• Experience managing complex self-perform projects with Structural, Mechanical and Civil components.
• Proficiency in Blue Beam and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project & Outlook).
• Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Endurance to visit entire job site, including stairs or elevated structures.

Responsibilities

• Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to meet critical path milestones.
• Perform quality control duties to ensure work meets plans and specs.
• Coordinate RFIs, submittals, approvals, and permits with project team.
• Monitor safety, health, and environmental standards on site.
• Preside over weekly subcontractor meetings and pre-construction meetings.
• Review and interpret safety rules, blueprints, and operating instructions.
• Prepare routine reports and field communications.
• Identify and resolve deficient work through timely action.
