Job summary

Prospect Construction, Inc. in Canby, OR is seeking a Treatment Plant Superintendent to lead on-site construction of water and wastewater facilities. This is an in-person, full-time role responsible for safety, schedule, quality, and coordination with the Project Manager, Engineer, and Owner.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of heavy civil experience, proficiency with plan interpretation, self-perform supervision, and strong leadership to deliver complex facilities on schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of verifiable heavy civil experience.
• Experience supervising union craft crews.
• Ability to read and interpret structural, mechanical, and civil plans and specifications.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam and MS Office (Excel, Word, Project, Outlook).
• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to safely lift up to 75 lbs and access the full jobsite.

Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site construction activities and daily field operations.
• Supervise and direct self-perform union crafts and foremen.
• Plan daily and weekly work and track production against budgeted labor hours.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, surveyors, and testing agencies.
• Lead preconstruction meetings and daily crew huddles.
• Establish and enforce jobsite quality control programs.
