Job summary

U.S. Water Services Corporation is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor to lead water and wastewater maintenance crews, plan schedules, and ensure safe, efficient operations. The role combines field supervision with administration and interdepartmental coordination.

Based in Florida, the position demands on-site management, equipment troubleshooting, and active participation in safety and budgeting activities while accommodating a flexible schedule including evenings and holidays.

Qualifications

• A valid Driver's License.
• Moderate (45 pounds or more) lifting and carrying.
• Climbing, standing, kneeling, bending, stooping, and walking.
• Driving and operating equipment.
• Ability to work outside and in various weather conditions.
• Ability to work with chemicals, electricity and odors.
• Ability to work below ground level or with heights.
• Traveling is required.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills with Excel, MS WORD, CMMS Data bases, MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Supervises repairs to water and wastewater lines and installs meters.
• Oversees maintenance and repair of valves, meters, gauges, pumps and related equipment.
• Maintains water/wastewater facilities, underground utilities, and lift stations.
• Reviews client facilities, identifies deficiencies, and coordinates job schedules.
• Coords on-call maintenance with Supervisors/Managers.
• Troubleshoots pumps, blowers and plant equipment.
• Administers the division budget.
• Coordinates line locates to prevent damage during construction.
• Provides training for maintenance staff on equipment operation.
• Inspects vehicles and equipment for timely repairs.
• Supports project manager on bids and proposals.
• Works a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
