Job summary

City of Fallon seeks a Water/Wastewater Treatment Operator to operate and maintain a 9.7 MGD arsenic removal water facility, a well field, boosters, reservoirs, and a 2.2 MGD SBR wastewater facility. Schedule requires 24/7 availability and on-call duty.

The successful candidate will monitor SCADA, adjust chemical dosages, collect data, and ensure safety compliance while serving residents and responding to inquiries. Starting hourly range is $30.99–$37.76, with full benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of water/wastewater treatment experience.
• Ability to operate SCADA and calibrate equipment.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Able to work 24/7 schedule and on-call.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and PPE.
