Job summary

Central States Water Resources in Ocala, FL is seeking a Water/Wastewater Maintenance Technician to support daily operations at the treatment facility. The role involves regular inspections and maintenance to ensure safe operation and regulatory compliance.

The position offers a $23–$26 hourly wage, a $1,000 sign-on bonus, and strong benefits including 90% employer-paid medical/dental/vision coverage, a 5% company 401(k) contribution, life insurance, disability coverage, and long-term career

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• OSHA safety training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience operating large machinery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine scheduled maintenance at assigned facilities
• Assess problems and diagnose equipment failures
• Check the condition of lift stations as needed
• Pull motors and pumps for maintenance
• Inspect and operate gate valves and meters
• Maintain a daily maintenance log for regulatory requirements
• Fulfill customer work orders as required
