Job summary

RIM Recruitment Professionals is seeking an Electrical Engineer (Instrumentation and Controls) with 5+ years to join our client in Dallas, Texas. The role focuses on designing and implementing electrical systems for water and wastewater treatment facilities, ensuring reliability and compliance.

Candidates will lead installation, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, analyze existing systems, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of electrical engineering experience for water/wastewater facilities.
• Texas PE license or ability to obtain one soon.
• Familiar with NEC, NFPA, ISA, IEEE and local regulations.
• Experience with SCADA systems and instrumentation.
• Proficient in electrical design software and current industry practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee electrical systems for water and wastewater plants.
• Manage multiple projects with timely delivery and budget adherence.
• Analyze existing systems to identify improvements and implement solutions.
• Ensure designs meet safety, codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical guidance during construction and commissioning.
• Prepare reports, specifications, and documentation.
