The City of Pompano Beach seeks a highly skilled Utilities Infrastructure Systems Examiner to support planning, review, coordination, and implementation of water, reuse, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure. You will assess development proposals, coordinate permitting, and ensure compliance with City and regulatory standards.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or closely related field.
• Master’s degree in Engineering or closely related field preferred.
• FE exam passed or in progress; Florida EI certification or within 12 months of hire.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent within one year of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate utility development reviews through PAM, DRC, pre-construction meetings, and related processes.
• Review engineering plans, permits, and documents for water, reuse, wastewater, and stormwater systems.
• Conduct field inspections and site evaluations to support reviews and project coordination.
• Perform utility capacity evaluations, meter sizing requests, and connection determinations.
• Assist with as-built drawings, easements, and right-of-way documents coordinating with City staffs.
