Job summary

Qualifications

• PADEP operator certifications commensurate with Authority systems or ability to attain within 1 year.
• Manage a 6-person full-time staff and outside contractors effectively.
• Lead a preexisting team, train others, and own department delivery and culture.
• Interact with customers, the public, developers, professionals, and agencies professionally.

Job Description:

Oversee & manage the operations & maintenance of a sanitary sewer conveyance system & water production/distribution system with wells, tanks & interconnects. Requires being available 24/7 and working in inclement weather.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or business. Requires in depth understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic concepts & applications. Must possess (or ability to attain in 1 year) PADEP operator certifications commensurate with Authority systems. Manage 6-person full time staff & outside contractors to effectively operate & maintain all facilities. Willingness to lead a preexisting team and accommodate the current culture while also seeking to optimize, train, and take ownership of the department. Interact with customers, public, developers, professional staff & government agencies in a professional & problem-solving manner.

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
