Job summary

City of Colleyville seeks a skilled maintenance worker to manage routine operations for water and wastewater systems. You will perform repairs to water mains, meters, and hydrants, and assist with sewer line cleaning and response to sewer issues.

Heavy equipment operation and traffic control responsibilities are included. Join a team that requires a valid Texas driver’s license and CDL Class B with endorsements.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid Texas Driver's License and a CDL Class B with endorsements.
• High school diploma or GED is required or equivalent experience.
• CDL within six months of hire is expected.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance and operational tasks for water distribution systems.
• Repairs water mains, meters, hydrants, and related infrastructure.
• Cleans sewer lines and responds to sewer issues in the collection system.
• Operates jetter trucks, hydro-excavation equipment, and power tools.
• Works with traffic control and reports for duty outside normal hours when needed.
