Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Two years of work experience in Water or Wastewater Utility, Construction, or related field are required.
• One year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid Texas CDL (Class A) required.
• Grade C Wastewater Distribution and/or Class II Wastewater Collection certifications preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret letters, memos, contracts, and technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily tasks of water and wastewater crews to maintain infrastructure (pipes, valves, hydrants, etc.).
• Plan and oversee projects; perform work inspections; manage equipment, supplies, and procurement.
• Develop work orders, ensure safety, and communicate with customers, contractors, and city staff.
