Job summary

Slayden Constructors Inc. (SCI), a subsidiary of MWH Constructors, is seeking Field Engineers to support Civil/Structural/Earthworks on a major WWTP project in the Eugene, Oregon area.

You will assist with layout, procurement, inspections, and field coordination while ensuring safety and compliance with plans and specifications. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field or equivalent experience, 0–5 years in construction or field support, and proficiency with PM

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or Process Engineering, or equivalent.
• 0–5 years of construction, design and/or field support experience.
• Working knowledge of construction equipment techniques, drawings and materials.
• Ability to manage interfaces and communicate effectively with others.

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction layout, procurement, submittal review, scheduling, and project controls.
• Perform ongoing field inspections and ensure work complies with plans and specs.
• Prepare documentation, drawings, and change orders as required.
• Provide field support to supervision and craft labor and lead activities.
• Review contractor pay applications, project schedule, and prepare progress reports.
• Assist with claims analysis and change orders.
