Job summary

Slayden Constructors Inc., a subsidiary of MWH Constructors, seeks Field Engineers to support Civil/Structural/Earthworks for a significant WWTP project in the Eugene, Oregon area. You will provide field and technical support to project management and supervision to ensure work is performed safely, on schedule, and per engineering standards.

Essential qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field and 0-5 years of field experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/Process Engineering or equivalent experience.
0-5 years of construction, design and/or field support experience.
Working knowledge of construction materials, drawings and specs; ability to read and interpret plans.

Responsibilities

Provide field support to project management and supervision to ensure work is completed safely, on time and per plans.
Assist with construction layout, procurement, submittals, scheduling, quantity takeoffs and document control.
Perform field inspections to verify work conforms with plans, permits and specifications.
Prepare/submit records, sketches, calculations and changes as required to support construction activities.
Create drawings and sketches to support temporary works, change orders and estimates.
