Job summary

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in construction inspection.
• Experience with water or wastewater facilities preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Effective communication with clients, coworkers, sub‑consultants, contractors, and agency staff.

Responsibilities

• Monitor contractor operations for compliance with contract plans, provisions, and specifications.
• Identify field issues and discuss solutions with supervisor and contractor.
• Advise contractors on safety violations and recommend corrective actions.
• Perform field measurements of pay items and maintain daily records and diaries.
• Oversee materials testing such as soil compaction, concrete, and asphalt field tests.
• Document all field activities and coordinate with owner and contractor.
