Job summary

B is seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater Estimator to join our team. You’ll play a key role in pursuing and planning water and wastewater infrastructure projects, developing accurate, competitive estimates and partnering closely with operations and project management from bid through project handoff.

We’re looking for someone who understands water/wastewater construction and self-performed work and can evaluate scope, constructability, risk, and cost—not just perform takeoffs.

Qualifications

• Analytical, organizational, and communication skills required.
• Experience reading plans, specs and contract documents.
• Ability to perform cost analysis, scope reviews and takeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Develop estimates for water and wastewater facilities and related infrastructure.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing for self-performed labor, materials, and equipment.
• Evaluate subcontractor/supplier proposals and ensure coverage of scope.
