Job summary

Town of Flower Mound Public Works is seeking personnel to operate heavy equipment and perform essential water and wastewater maintenance. Under supervision, you\u2019ll run backhoes, excavators, loaders, trenchers, and related tools, inspect assets, and support daily construction and repair tasks to uphold infrastructure integrity.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver\'s license, and be able to obtain a Texas Class A CDL within six months.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have a valid state driver's license.
• Must obtain Texas Class A CDL within 6 months of hire.
• 1 year of utility maintenance or equipment operation experience required.

Responsibilities

• Operate backhoes, excavators, loaders, trenchers, dump trucks, and other equipment.
• Repair and maintain water distribution and wastewater systems.
• Perform daily inspections and preventive maintenance for vehicles and tools.
• Work in high-traffic areas, assist with safety and training of staff.
• Identify hazards and report findings to supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
