Job summary

H2M architects + engineers, a multi-discipline architectural, engineering, and environmental consulting firm with multiple offices in NY & NJ, seeks qualified interns to work closely with experienced professionals in our Water/Wastewater Engineering Division. The intern will support data gathering, drafting using AutoCAD and Revit, and assist project managers with construction drawings and specifications.

The program runs June 7th - August 13th; hourly rate ranges from $19.25 to $27.00.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a sophomore or higher in an Engineering program (Chemical/Civil/Environmental/Mechanical).
• Strong computer skills with MS Word and Excel; familiarity with AutoCAD is expected.
• Able to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• General administrative data gathering and compilation.
• Assist project managers with construction drawings and specifications.
• Drafting using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will possess the following characteristics:

• Enrolled as a sophomore or higher in a Chemical, Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering or related field at an accredited institution.
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and AutoCAD.
• Eagerness to learn.
• Ability to work individually as well as in a team.
