Job summary

H2M architects + engineers seeks qualified interns to work closely with experienced professionals in our Water/Wastewater Engineering Division in New York. You will assist project managers with drawings and specifications, gather data, and draft using AutoCAD and Revit.

The internship runs June 7th through August 13th, offering exposure to real projects, fieldwork opportunities, and workshops on resume writing and interviewing skills.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a sophomore or higher in a Chemical, Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering or related field at an accredited institution.
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and AutoCAD.
• Eagerness to learn.
• Ability to work individually as well as in a team.

The intern will be responsible for:

• General administrative tasks such as gathering and compiling data.
• Assisting project managers with construction drawings and specifications.
• Computer drafting using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will possess the following characteristics:

• Enrolled as a sophomore or higher in a Chemical, Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering or related field at an accredited institution.
