Job summary

H2M architects + engineers, a multi-discipline architectural, engineering, and environmental consulting firm with multiple offices in NY & NJ, seeks qualified interns to work closely with experienced professionals in our Civil Engineering Division.

The internship runs from June 7th to August 13th and involves data gathering, assisting project managers with drawings and specifications, drafting using AutoCAD and Revit, and other duties. The hourly rate ranges from $19.25 to $27.00.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a sophomore or higher in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and AutoCAD.
• Eager to learn and able to work both independently and in a team.

The intern will be responsible for:

• General administrative tasks such as gathering and compiling data.
• Assisting project managers with construction drawings and specifications.
• Computer drafting using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will possess the following characteristics:

• Enrolled as a sophomore or higher in a Chemical, Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering or related field at an accredited institution.
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and AutoCAD.
• Eagerness to learn.
• Ability to work individually as well as in a team.
