Job summary

H2M architects + engineers is seeking qualified interns to work closely with experienced professionals in our Construction Services department. The internship offers hands-on field experience, safety emphasis, and exposure to real projects.

Ideal candidates are rising sophomores or higher in construction, engineering, or related fields, with MS Office proficiency and a willingness to learn. The program runs June 7th–August 13th and may be full-time or part-time depending on business needs.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a sophomore or higher in construction, construction management, engineering or related field.
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and for multiple projects.
• Eagerness to learn and grow within ateam environment.

Responsibilities

H2M architects + engineers, a multi-discipline architectural, engineering, and environmental consulting firm with multiple offices in NY & NJ seeks qualified interns to work closely with experienced professionals in our Construction Services department.

The intern will be responsible for:

• Coordinate, assist, and communicate with team to successfully execute on-site tasks required to complete a successful project.
• Promote job-site safety, encourage safe work practices and rectify any job site hazards immediately.
• Assist with the execution of site-specific tasks as assigned.
• Provide general administrative and project support
• Other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will possess the following characteristics:

• Enrolled as a sophomore or higher in construction, construction management, engineering or related field.
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and for multiple projects.
• Eagerness to learn.
• Ability to work individually and collaboratively in a team.
