Job summary

Barge Design Solutions is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineering Manager for our Nashville or Chattanooga office. This role blends technical project delivery with engineering team leadership, acting as a technical design lead on water and wastewater projects to deliver high-quality work.

The manager will lead a local team of Engineering Associates and Professional Engineers, coordinate with Project Managers, plan resources, mentor staff, and contribute to proposals and project plans to ensure

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from accredited program.
Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience.
Registered Professional Engineer.
Solid knowledge in Water/Wastewater concepts, practices, and procedures.
Ability to manage and motivate employees.

Responsibilities

Serves as Technical Design Lead on water and wastewater projects, directing design and QA.
Oversees planning, analysis, and design for water/wastewater infrastructure.
Supervises and develops Engineering Associates and Professional Engineers.
Coordinates with Project Managers to align resources with project needs.
Attends internal and client meetings to present on work assignments.
Supports strategic and business planning activities.
