Job summary

Ardurra is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineering Intern to join our Ocala, FL team for the summer of 2027. The intern will assist in the design and analysis of water and wastewater facilities and networks, preparing drawings, reports, and specifications while gaining exposure to field investigations and project scheduling.

The role emphasizes hydraulic modeling, data collection, and collaboration with engineers and vendors to develop cost estimates.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, GIS, and hydraulic modeling software preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; able to work with a team under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and analysis of water/wastewater facilities, distribution systems, and networks.
• Prepare drawings, reports, and specifications.
• Conduct hydraulic modeling and engineering calculations; support data take-offs.
• Participate in field investigations and data collection; process field data.
• Coordinate with vendors for budget quotes and cost estimates.
• Support permitting, regulatory documentation, and project scheduling.
• Review drawings for accuracy and adherence to standards.
