Ardurra is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineering Intern to join our St Augustine, FL team for the summer of 2027. You will contribute to a range of water and wastewater projects for municipalities and public agencies, gaining exposure to real-world engineering tasks.

The internship emphasizes hands-on design, field data collection, and applying AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, and hydraulic modeling tools while working under close supervision to build technical skills and explore a civil engineering

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in civil/environmental engineering or related field.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, GIS, and hydraulic modeling software preferred.
  • Strong organization, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist design and analysis of water/wastewater facilities, distribution systems, and collection networks.
  • Prepare drawings, reports, technical memoranda, and specifications.
  • Conduct hydraulic modeling, engineering calculations, and quantity take-offs.
  • Participate in field investigations, data collection, and site inspections.
  • Support budgeting, permitting documentation, and project scheduling.
