Kennedy Jenks is seeking a 2027 Water/Wastewater Engineering Intern to join a Kickstart Internship Program in Monterey, CA. You will support project teams on water resources, quality, wastewater, and treatment topics across client projects nationwide.

The role offers a hybrid work model with a minimum of two days per week in the office, mentorship, and exposure to planning through construction phases.

Qualifications

• Pursuing undergraduate or graduate degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or related engineering field.
• Completion of a minimum of junior (third-year) standing in an accredited engineering program.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams on water resources, water quality, wastewater and water treatment topics.
• Work on field tasks, technical reports, calculations, and pre-construction conditions documentation.
• Assist in preparing design plans and specifications for water projects.
