TYLin in Alexandria, VA, seeks a Water Engineer to lead the delivery of water and wastewater engineering services for clients in the Mid-Atlantic region, with near-term assignments in business development, studies, modeling, and construction support.

The role requires 5+ years in engineering consulting, PE licensure, and strong communication and technical writing skills; a BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering is required, Master’s degree desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering; Master’s degree desirable.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering consulting with water/wastewater conveyance and treatment focus; business development.
• PE licensure required; DC, Maryland, Virginia.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Technical excellence in planning studies, preliminary, final designs and asset management for water/wastewater infrastructure.
• Managing multiple tasks to lead and support teams, ensuring client satisfaction within contract, budget and schedule constraints.
