TYLin is seeking a Lead Water Engineer to join our Water team in the Richmond, VA area. The role leads project teams for regional clients in planning, design and construction of stormwater, water and wastewater infrastructure, including treatment, collection, pumping, distribution and regulatory support.

The successful candidate will work with clients primarily in the Richmond, Virginia area. The ideal candidate holds a BS in Civil/Environmental Engineering, PE licensure, 10+ years of

Qualifications

BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering is required.
MS degree preferred.
Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is required.
10+ years of experience in water and wastewater engineering consulting for municipal clients.

Responsibilities

Organize and lead project teams to pursue stormwater, water, and wastewater opportunities.
Lead engineering design of complex assignments and develop proposals and technical specifications.
Develop reports, studies and memoranda to support engineering analyses for clients.
Manage projects, budgets, schedules and staffing; coordinate with clients and invoices.
Mentor staff and provide professional and technical oversight to grow the team.
Present project deliverables to clients as required.
