Job summary

LaBella Associates in Latham, NY seeks a Water/Wastewater Engineer to tackle diverse infrastructure challenges across the Capital Region. You will lead design concepts and collaborate with a team to deliver reliable, sustainable solutions for public works and private developments.

The ideal candidate has 4–10 years of experience, a civil/env engineering degree, and a PE or path to licensure within 24 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil and/or Environmental Engineering.
• 4–10 years' experience in water/wastewater engineering.
• PE license or ability to obtain within 24 months.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D; Revit is a plus.
• Familiarity with hydraulic/process modeling software.
• Experience with public works projects from planning to construction.

Responsibilities

• Contributing to all phases of water/wastewater projects including the development of design concepts.
• Performing and reviewing detailed calculations, working within teams and mentoring junior staff.
• Overseeing design staff in the production of drawings and specifications.
• Supporting projects throughout construction as they progress to final closeout.
