LaBella Associates is hiring a Water/Wastewater Designer in Rochester, NY. You will support meaningful projects and learn from experienced engineers committed to your development.

Responsibilities include designing water and wastewater systems, preparing drawings, and assisting with hydraulic modeling and site investigations. A Bachelor’s degree and 2–5 years of experience are required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or closely related field) is required.
• 2-5 years of engineering or design experience is expected.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within 12 months is preferred.
• Interest in water/wastewater treatment and conveyance systems.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or Civil 3D is a plus.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with the design of water and wastewater treatment, distribution, and collection systems.
• Prepare drawings, models, calculations, and technical deliverables using AutoCAD and design tools.
• Support senior engineers with hydraulic modeling, alternatives analysis, and technical evaluations.
• Participate in site visits, field investigations, and construction observation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve technical challenges and deliver quality projects.
• Engage in structured training, mentorship, and hands-on learning across project phases.
