Job summary

Trinity Consultants in Phoenix is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer to provide design and technical support for land development and water/wastewater infrastructure projects. You will assist with project production, marketing, and coordination with project managers.

Required: bachelor’s in engineering, 4+ years’ experience, AZ PE (or eligible), and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D. Salary range $95,000–$125,000 with benefits and opportunities for hybrid/remote work where applicable.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field is required.
PE license in Arizona or eligibility to obtain one is required.
Minimum of four years of engineering experience.
Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and project documents.
Experience with engineering reports and land development plans.
Familiarity with water/wastewater systems and municipal standards.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Modeling software experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop water/wastewater improvement plans and master plans under a project manager.
Prepare technical reports and engineering design plans.
Use AutoCAD to design and draft engineering plans; review plans by drafters/designers.
Assist PM and leadership with client coordination and marketing to new clients.
Respond to RFPs and participate in business development in water/wastewater sector.
Represent Trinity at industry events and conferences.
Oversee junior EITs and drafters for task execution.
Maintain task budgets and schedules; coordinate with subconsultants.
Mentor junior staff and assist with their technical development.
