Job summary

Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Engineer in Las Cruces, NM or El Paso, with 4–10 years of experience to lead water and wastewater projects, including supply, conveyance, treatment, and disposal.

The role involves business development, client management, mentoring junior staff, and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment, with growth opportunities across multiple projects within the firm.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering (emphasis)
• MS in Civil/Environmental Engineering preferred
• TXPE License or ability to obtain in 6 months
• Experience with plan production and AutoCAD Civil 3D/MEP3D/Revit
• Experience with hydraulic/environmental calculations and technical report writing
• Experience with hydraulic modeling using WaterGEMS/SewerGEMS/InfoWater/InfoSewer

• Contact and visit clients for business development/marketing, including attendance at local industry conferences and seminars

Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects is currently seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Engineer with 4 – 10 years of experience to join our team in Las Cruces or El Paso.

The position will focus primarily on water/wastewater related projects, including but not limited to supply, conveyance, treatment, and disposal.

We are seeking a self-motivated individual who is eager to lead and grow as a professional working in a fast-paced team environment in our La Cruces, NM office.

Essential Job Functions:

• Although expected to work independently, this individual must be able to interact well with other team members within the Wilson & Company team.

Required Experience:

• BS in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering emphasis MS in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering is preferred
• 4-10 years of experience
• TXPE License or the ability to obtain a license in 6-months is required
• Experience with plan production, familiarity with the use of AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD MEP3d, AutoCAD Plant3d, or revit is preferred.
• Experience with hydraulic and environmental calculations as well as technical report writing
• Experience with hydraulic modeling utilizing WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, InfoWater, or InfoSewer

Job Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico

Annual Salary Range: $101,000 - $150,000 (Depending on Experience)
