Job summary

Wilson Engineers is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager for our Las Vegas, NV office. The role leads civil engineering projects, develops designs and cost estimates, and ensures compliance with regulations while coordinating multidisciplinary teams.

The position requires a Civil Engineering degree with PE license and at least five years of water/wastewater design experience, including project management.

Qualifications

• PE licensed civil engineer required.
• Minimum 5 years in water/wastewater design and 2+ years PM.
• Experience with treatment facilities, collection systems, and master plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex civil engineering projects with multidisciplinary teams.

As a high-growth firm, Wilson Engineers offers the opportunity to work on impactful and technically challenging projects alongside a talented and passionate team. We are currently seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater Project Manager to join our Las Vegas, Nevada office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead complex civil engineering projects and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative water and wastewater infrastructure solutions.
• Develop engineering designs, technical reports, construction plans, specifications, cost estimates, permitting documentation, and alternatives analyses for municipal water and wastewater projects.
• Manage projects from initial planning and conceptual design through final delivery, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule objectives are achieved.
• Ensure project compliance with applicable codes, regulations, industry standards, and client performance requirements throughout all phases of design and construction.
• Provide engineering support during construction, including design reviews, technical evaluations, and resolution of field issues to ensure successful project execution.
• Drive technical leadership, mentorship, and direction to engineering staff, coordinating design tasks and ensuring high-quality, timely project deliverables.

Requirements

• Civil Engineering Degree with Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Water/Wastewater related design and experience with construction-related engineering services with at least (2) years of project management experience.
• Relevant experience shall include design of treatment facilities, collection systems, booster and pump stations, water, reclaimed water, and wastewater master plans.
• Experience with construction-related engineering services with the ability to review Shop Drawings, RFIs, issuing Engineers Directives etc.
• Computer experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook software capabilities.
